Flash Share is designed as an offline peer-to-peer file-sharing application. To function correctly, the App requires certain device permissions, but we do not collect, store, or transmit your personal files or data to any external servers. All file transfers occur locally between devices over a secure Wi-Fi Direct or local area network connection.

• Storage / Media Permissions: The App requires access to your device's storage and media files solely to allow you to select and send files, photos, videos, and apps to other devices.
• Location / Nearby Devices Permission: The App requires Location (on older Android versions) or Nearby Devices (Android 13+) permissions. This is strictly required by the Android operating system to discover and connect to nearby devices using Wi-Fi Direct. We do not track, collect, or store your physical location.
• Camera Permission: If utilized, the camera is only used to scan QR codes for device pairing. We do not record or store any camera data.

2. Third-Party Services and Advertising

While the core file-sharing functionality operates entirely offline, the App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you, primarily for the purpose of serving advertisements.

The App uses Google AdMob to display ads. Google AdMob may use advertising IDs (such as the Android Advertising ID) and cookies to serve personalized or non-personalized ads based on your device's usage.

3. Security

We value your trust in providing us with your data. Since Flash Share transfers files locally via Wi-Fi Direct, your files do not pass through the public internet. These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to take the necessary actions.
